Harrah’s New Orleans and Archie Manning Team up to Open Manning’s Restaurant on Fulton Square
Harrah’s New Orleans and former New Orleans Saints Quarterback Archie Manning are joining forces to open Manning’s. The venue will include a restaurant, bar and courtyard to be used for outdoor dining and entertainment.
“I am excited to embark on this venture with Harrah’s and look forward to giving back to the city that has given me so much,” said Archie Manning, collaborator on the project. “New Orleans is my home and I look forward to giving locals and visitors a sports experience unique to the city.”
Manning’s will lie on Harrah’s Fulton Square located just outside of Harrah’s Casino and Hotel on Fulton Street. The outdoor promenade is home to Ruth’s Chris, Gordon Biersch Restaurant, Grand Isle, Ernst Cafe and Aidan Gill. It also plays host to a number of festivals and attractions including Harrah’s Miracle on Fulton Street.
“We introduced Harrah’s Fulton Street in 2003 as an urban streetscape for locals and visitors to experience the best of New Orleans entertainment, shopping, dining and more,” said Dan Real, general manager and senior vice president of Harrah’s New Orleans. “The addition of Manning’s will make this popular location even more attractive to our guests and sports fans from across the country.”
The groundbreaking of Manning’s is scheduled for January 2011 with a grand opening set for fall 2011.
